J.L. Martin Faith in a Fast Food World FAITH
Parents know we need to pass on faith to our kids. However, we are so busy in our day-to-day lives. Because of the tension of these two truths, as parents we often feel guilt, shame, or exhaustion. We will look at how we can influence our kids spiritually in the midst of our busyness. As we seek to “impress them on our children” from Deuteronomy 6, we might see the “how to” as more organic than structured. As a busy dad, I am not the expert, but look forward to a discussion that brings freedom not condemnation.
Lori Wildenberg Blindsided by the Culture PARENTING
Is the culture colliding with your family values? Is your young person more of the world than in the world? Parents, we are raising our kids in a time where YOLO (You Only Live Once) is the young person’s mantra, sex is recreational, porn is common-place, marijuana is legal (in some states), same-sex relationships are normalized, and marriage is redefined. Join Lori Wildenberg, mother of a self-proclaimed gay child, as she shares what it looks like to honor the Lord and love her child, while living in the tension of truth and grace.
