Below is a rewritten version of Psalm 139 (from a kid’s perspective).
You can print this and give it to your child as a valentine from God.
~Chrissy
I have searched you, dear child…
And I know you.
I watch when you sit and when you rise.
I read your thoughts from afar.
I know always, where you are.
I am familiar with your ways.
I am aware of everything you will say,
I am always before you and behind you
As you go…
My hand is on you.
Do you realize the wonder of my presence?
You surely are never out of my sight.
I follow you day and night.
Even in your darkest hour.
I shine my great light.
I created every part of you,
Knitted so beautifully together
In your mother’s womb.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made,
For my work is always perfect.
I chose every piece of who you are
And declared your path before you.
I saw everything that you are
And all that you will be,
Before I even created you.
There will be wickedness against me.
I gave you vision to see.
Open your heart to my divinity…
So that I may bestow upon you
The Bounty of My Sovereignty.
May you always allow me in,
So that I can lead you in the way everlasting.
My love for you will never die…
For I am your Creator.
I am your God.
How do you celebrate Valentine’s Day?
