Becky Danielson is a Christian wife and mother as well as a licensed Parent and Family Educator. She has a bachelor’s degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in Elementary Education (K-6) and Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in Education from St. Mary’s University. She is a former kindergarten and first grade teacher. She has written curriculum for both churches and schools. Becky has been married for twenty-four years to her best friend, Scott. They live in the Twin Cities with their two teenage sons and golden retriever. Being outdoors with her family is her favorite pastime, especially if on a ski hill! She has been and continues to be active in the education of her children, volunteering at church, school, and in the community. Becky is passionate about families and how Scripture relates to family life. Her commitment to teach her sons the Word of God and her own journey of faith have increased her desire to share the Bible as it relates to parenting.
Jenna Hallock is a pastor’s wife and enjoys working with the ministry of Family Time Training. She and her husband, Mark, have always been passionate about raising their children to be joyful, passionate disciples of Jesus. Mark and Jenna have been married for 14 years and live in Littleton, Colorado. Jenna graduated from the University of Colorado in 2002. When she is not doing “kid stuff” you’ll find her writing, volunteering, cooking, or gardening!
Misty Honnold is the Founder and Executive Director of The Single Mom KC. A single mother of four, her greatest life work has been loving and leading her family well. Misty’s own challenges as a single mother have equipped her to offer encouragement, hope, and resources to other single mothers. She travels to train, teach, and equip churches and communities to love and aide single mothers. Misty’s wisdom and experience is accessible though podcasts, articles, and websites. She has been featured in Overwhelmed magazine, been a guest writer on Frontline Moms, and hosts Mocha Moments for The Single Mom.
Pete Larson is the Executive Director of Family Fest Ministries in Bloomington, Minnesota. Family Fest seeks to strengthen families in the Christian Faith through weeklong and weekend retreats for families. Family Fest also has developed and leads the Marriage Booster Retreat for couples. Pete often speaks on marriage, parenting and families at family camps, men’s and women’s groups, conferences and retreats. Connect with Pete to learn more about Family Fest Ministries. Pete grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota as the 9th of fourteen children. He lives in Bloomington, Minnesota with his wife, Lynn, and their sons, Dan and Tim.
Kirk Weaver has two teenaged children and has been doing Family Time lessons with his family since 1994. In 1999 Kirk founded Family Time Training. The ministry trains an average of 8,000+ family members each year. Kirk has written eight books containing Family Time object lessons including: Wiggles, Giggles & Popcorn; Seeing is Believing; Tried & True; Bible Stories for Preschoolers-Old Testament & New Testament. Prior to founding Family Time Training, Kirk worked with the development programs at Colorado Christian Home in Denver (10 years) and Epworth Children’s Home in St. Louis (8 years). Kirk has earned degrees from Wheaton College and the University of Missouri. Between the years 1983 and 1991, Kirk pursued the hobby of mountain climbing and summitted numerous peaks including: Mt. McKinley in Alaska, Aconcagua in Argentina, Mt. Cook in New Zealand, and Chimborazo in Ecuador. He now lives in Littleton, Colorado and devotes his time to training a new generation of parents.
Lori Wildenberg is passionate about coming alongside moms and dads to encourage, support, and empower them to be the parents they want to be. She meets parents where they are with her warmth, transparency, humor, and straight-forward faith-filled approach. Lori is a certified teacher, licensed parent and family educator, national speaker, co-founder (with Becky) of 1 Corinthians 13 Parenting, and co-author of three parenting books including Raising Little Kids with BIG Love and Raising Big Kids with Supernatural Love (Wildenberg & Danielson). Lori is a mentor mom with The MOM Initiative and Moms Together and is a contributor to a few online magazines: Faith Village, Life Notes Cafe, and Her View from Home. Lori also writes curriculum for the Professional Learning Board. She is available for speaking, parent consulting, and preschool-elementary teacher in-service training. The Wildenbergs home is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. A perfect day in Lori’s world is a hike with her hubby, four kids, and labradoodle.
