Many believers attend church on Ash Wednesday, participate in Communion, and have ashes placed on their head in the sign of the cross.
Why is this done?
To mark who we are. Believers. Saved Sinners.
We are the King’s kids! The verses included on the free download will help you and your family to identify exactly why you are loved so dearly by your Heavenly Father.
Read the verses, inserting the names of your family members in front of the word “you”. Bask in the knowledge you are loved.
Here are a few examples:
A Christian’s Identity in Christ
Xander, You Are Chosen For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. (Ephesians 1:4)
Sophia, You Are Holy Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. (Colossians 3:12)
Jose’, You Are His Child See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! (1 John 3:1)
Start your family’s Lenten season off with knowing who you are to God.
